As I step into the role of President of the Portland Relocation Council, I’m filled
with gratitude for this community and excitement for the year ahead. PRC has always been more than a professional network — it’s a place where people who care deeply about mobility, belonging, and human experience come together to learn, collaborate, and support one another. That spirit is exactly what inspired this year’s theme: Connection in Motion.
In our industry, movement is constant. Employees relocate across cities, countries, and cultures. Companies evolve. Policies shift. New challenges emerge. But through all that motion, one thing remains steady: the power of connection. When people feel supported, welcomed, and understood, transitions become opportunities — not obstacles.
This year, my goal is to strengthen the connective tissue of our community.
We’ll explore how mobility professionals, HR leaders & suppliers can work together more seamlessly. We’ll highlight the human side of relocation — the stories, emotions, and lived experiences that remind us why our work matters. And we’ll create spaces where innovation can flourish, whether through new ideas, new partnerships, or simply new conversations.
Portland is a city known for authenticity, creativity, and heart. PRC reflects those same qualities, and I’m committed to leading in a way that honors them. Expect programming that sparks curiosity, events that foster genuine connection, and moments that remind us that community is our greatest asset.
